\nIn 1999, John Crosland Jr., chartered the Piedmont Public Policy Institute (PPPI) as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.\u00a0Mr. Crosland was joined by H. Allen Tate, Jr. and many other leaders of the real estate industry\u00a0in the ensuing years as they directed the PPPI in its mission to conduct hard-hitting research and\u00a0challenging education programs. The PPPI carries on Mr. Crosland\u2019s and Mr. Tate\u2019s legacy of\u00a0fostering robust and informed dialogue on market-based solutions to many issues impacting the\u00a0real estate industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
